There Will Be Blood and There Will Be Oscar! Is 2008 the year that Paul Thomas Anderson wins his first Oscar and Daniel Day-Lewis wins his second for Best Actor? I think so.

I have to hand it to Paul Thomas Anderson and the job he did on this movie. Once again PTA proves that he is truly one of the greatest directors of his generation.
The performance that Daniel Day-Lewis gave should give him the Oscar for Best Actor; no question.
The combination of PTA and Daniel Day just goes to show us what great gifts both men have.

These guys have made a lot the films I love. From Gangs of New York to Boogie Nights, they give you a subject with depth and substance. I’m sure “there will be good” in “There will be Blood.
