Once of Hollywood’s most famous venues will be getting a much needed face lift and will re-open again in the fall of 2008. After all, it’s Hollywood and you always have to look your best or risk falling by the wayside. The venue will now be managed, booked, and operated by Live Nation.

The Palladium first opened it’s doors 67 years ago with the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra featuring The Chairman of The Board. Through out it’s many years, the venue has played host to The Police, the Rolling Stones, James Brown, Led Zeppelin, the Who, and Rod Stewart to name a few.

“The addition of the Hollywood Palladium to our Los Angeles-area venue portfolio provides us with the midsized-capacity venue that we were previously missing,” said Bruce Eskowitz, Live Nation CEO for North American Music.
