It’s truly an end of an era in Los Angeles with the closing of Mortons. Home to the famous Vanity Fair Oscar party. From the Monday night dinners and cocktails to the power lunches, Mortons will truly be missed. The restaurant was purchased by British hotelier Nick Jones with plans to turn it into a members-only social club called Soho House West Hollywood.

I for one am happy to see another members-only club open in Los Angeles. They offer a great quite place to do business. Read the full article in the LA Times here.
