EMI says bye bye to DRM

Someone got it; EMI got it. Steve Jobs’s won, and the labels lost again. However the true winner in all of this is the consumer. They are now going to have the ability to transfer their EMI music to any device they wish. The higher price and quality is only a stepping-stone to tiered pricing that the major labels have been demanding for sometime now. Great move on Eric Nicoli’s (CEO EMI Group) part to make an impact on a label group that has been struggling for years now.
