Critics Agree There Will be Blood

Critics agree, There Will Be Blood! Paul Thomas Anderson’s epic masterpiece based on his loose adaptation of a 1927 Upton Sinclair novel, “Oil!”. In this movie Paul Thomas Anderson proves why he is truly one of the greatest directors of our generation.
The National Society of Film Critics on Saturday awarded There Will Be Blood, Best Picture, Best Actor for Daniel Day-Lewis and Best Director for Paul Thomas Anderson.
If the awards keep pilling up the way they have been, there should be no competition for The Oscars. That is if The WGA will get their heads out of their asses and stop playing hardball with the AMPTP. You can only go so far with an ex-Union leader who does not know how to play politics.
Hopefully the WGA will bargain and cut an interim agreement with the The Academy of Motion Arts and Pictures and allow ABC to broadcast the event. It would be a shame to delay the event or have the actors picket because they are afraid to cross the picket line. Grow some balls and give America a glimpse of what they look forward to every year!
